**Sunday.

And raining. Great.

Uriko's got her first date and the weather was atrocious. Still, Haruki was the type to really get mad if she didn't show up so, she ran/drudged her way through the rain and some mud to Haruki's place. Shuddering from being rained on, Uriko knocked on his door.

[And bang-zoom he's at his door rather quickly. He was expecting her, yes, but still... when he opens he's going to frown as bit before getting the door all wide open for her]

**Way to rub it in Haruki. She may be human, but she still acts cat-like.**

Really, I hadn't noticed. Got a towel...

[He's already got one, actually. One he stole from Arthur actually. He's going to pull that one off the couch (next to some underwear Shiki was working on sewing and a stuffed dinosaur (a long-necked one) and some other stuff. He's going to throw it at here there and smile a little]

**She towels her hair before anything else, as it's far more absorbent and drippy than her or her clothes. She works her arms and legs as she steps inside, leaving her dirty shoes by the door.**

[And now he's going to flop down on the couch there. Thumbs up at her, no less. But even so, then he's going to glare out one of the windows]

Sucks that it's raining today.

Yeah... it kind of ruins the whole... 'going out' part of the date. **Yeah, she seems bummed about it too**

Ah well. [Grunt, and then...] Did you already eat lunch?

**She shakes her head, letting the towel just sit there.** I thought we might go out or something but... I was too worried about getting over here dry I forgot...

S'all right. I'll make it.

[And now he's standing to go to the kitchen there with a shrug. But still:]

What do you want?

**Haruki can cook? Wait... like, basic ramen cooking or REAL cooking?**

What can you make?

I asked what you want, jeez. Any idiot can cook.

Ah... Well... Anything's fine. Uhm... lasagna? **She doesn't sound so sure, but, it's a matter of what Haruki can make, and weither or not what she's asking for is out of the question.**

Huh. Italian... yeah, I can do that. Been a while, but I can do that.

[Okay, now he's off to prepare that. Noodles and he's got the meat and tomato paste and stuff]

**Uriko's surprised that can cook at all, much less something to complicated and time consuming (or so she thinks). Setting the towel down before her, she sits on it on the couch, peering over at Haruki cooking**

[Lala, noodles... other stuff... Wait-]

Oi, you're fine with meat, right?

Yeah. I'm not a vegitarian or anything.

[Feel free to keep talking. Let's grind up some beef for this..]

So... you've got roommates, right? Where'd they go?

Haven't seen Shiki all day, dunno what the hell the porcupine does all day; he's probably in his room or something. As to Rena... she's probably around somewhere. S'big house.

Neku lives here too huh? I might have to drag him outside once in a while. At least the last time he was here he was more like a groundhog.

Nah, I've got it. You can sit at the counter or the table or something; it'll be in the oven soon and then we just need to wait.

[...And there, first layer done! Now the second- but an idea hits him:]

Actually, get some water or something.

**She was going to sneak up and hug Haruki, but she got assigned something so, she'll go and get the water... SIGHHH**

[You snooze you lose Uriko. Mind you by the time she's done with that he'll have just finished putting it in the oven there]

So... what's the water for if you're done?

For us to drink when it's done. Dunno about you, but tomatoes make my thirty. We got a while for it to cook though.

Tomatoes make you... Well okay. **And thusly, she hands the glass of water over, as though it was intended for him anyway.**

[He'll take that one, and a sip, before leaning against the counter]

We got a while before that heats up. Any ideas to pass the time?

**The craziest thing comes to mind, but she's too embarassed to try acting on THAT!** Uhm... I dunno... Uh... You could play with my paw again.
