Y'know, I probably should have made better use of the fact I could tell Haruki to do whatever I wanted. Kind of like reversing the roles, but, I wouldn't want to make him mad at me or anything. Though, I think he's got some aversion to hugging. Who knows.

But, still, it was nice while I had him. It felt like he actually liked me back.

Which you must be from the sounds of it. Pretending he likes you back; if he doesn't like you, that's throwing yourself. Not to mention accidentally voicing that thought knowing full well others can hear you including him.
