So... everyone's all flipping out over some guy dieing? You guys make it sound like a war's about to break out against those Mally-things.

Isn't that like... the fifteenth time this year or something? I mean, you guys always kick their butt every time, so I don't see what the big deal is. Just, do it again, right?

Well, it's not like you die forever here anyway. People just come back later so... I don't get what the big deal is.

He's the one guy that's been helping us this entire time. We probably wouldn't have got this far without him. Besides, it's been said that he won't be back since it was all sacrificial.

Wait... seriously? Okay... I mean I didn't even know the guy but... the whole coming back to life thing doesn't work when you kill yourself... or... well, whatever he did... got sacrificed.

That's why I didn't treat it like a big deal... I thought people would just come back.

It doesn't matter if people come back or not, Uriko, it's still pretty stupid to treat it so casually. [This coming from one who's been dead before, of course.] Even if you personally didn't know him, a lot of people did and his death is a very sensitive topic.

Besides, even if he were to come back, there'd be the penalty anyway. Not very many people come back unharmed.

Jacob was a valuable resource in the information the village has been given about the Malnosso, and since you are clearly not part of those that, as you've so eloquently put it, "kick their butt every time", your opinion is largely invalid.

I have been before! And I've been here a lot longer than you lady. It's not mu fault I'm trying to avoid all their stupid experiments like the plague.

It isn't a fault to avoid the experiments, but it is in fact your responsibility if you're going to throw your weight around when you've been too busy hiding to help in defense against the Malnosso.

Who said I've been hiding! And what weight have I been throwing around! And why's everyone getting so pissed off just because I don't know who the hell this guy was!

Perhaps you should do a little thinking before you speak, next time. You aren't what the world revolves around, therefore whether you knew Jacob or not he was important to some of the people here.

Maybe you should also learn to read. Jacob is not coming back. And the very fact that you don't know what's going on is the reason why you should watch your words in the first place.

I think some people might take offense to what you just said. From what I've heard that guy was pretty important.

From what I understand some people broke through the barrier and killed one of those men who was helping us, Jacob I think it was. Then um...John!, said that the people who killed him were coming towards the village next. Now everyone is making defensive plans for when they get here.
