[[By herself out in the woods, Uriko's 'sparring' with a tree. From the sound, it sounds like she hits it rather hard, but she's also making a lot of empty swipes and swings. Her movements for the style she uses are improper, but the tree isn't exactly a proper partner.

After one particular palm thrust, her sleeve (which is concealing her hand) gets caught in the bark]]

Well it's not really sneakin' with ya talkin' the whole time. [Wanders through the woods until he can actually see Uriko] Ya didn't say it was a pretty kitten out here punchin' trees. I woulda hurried more.

**Caught up in her own 'sparring', she doesn't notice Duo. She tugs her sleeve free from the tree and starts going at it again. The branches near the top shake pretty violently, leaving falling with each hit.**

Why is she doing that? Is she trying to break the tree down? Why doesn't she just climb it or use one of those things you use to bring trees down?

I'd imagine she's upset about something or she's practicing. Must be focusing really hard if she hasn't noticed us yet.

**Uriko's foot planted into the tree, sending a powerful thud through the forest. She pushed herself upward, jumping into the air. There was a bit of glow around Uriko before she landed. Taking another swipe at the tree, it was splintered and torn where her hand passed.**

Shit, seriously, I need ta be nice ta her. [decides now's a good time to interrupt so he steps forward and makes even more noise, trying not to startle her] So what'd the tree do to ya, kitten?

**Uriko stops, turning to the voice. She swings her hand back into the tree, claws digging into it.** What do you want Duo? Still treating me as part of your stupid bet with Hijiri?

[takes a surprised step back] What?! There's no damn bet. Hijiri and I play a game, but it's not with anyone else! Well, Misa and I were gunna tease 'im, but that's it and that's more a game with Misa against Hijiri. What the hell ya talkin' 'bout?

I don't know who the hell you were talkin' to, but there's no bet. We play a game, but it's just between us, no one else. [He pulls back from the threat of the swing before stepping forward again.] I don't know why the hell I told anyone why I move on and I sure as hell don't know why they told you. I'm not even gunna bother tellin' ya the truth 'bout it 'cause you're not gunna believe me either. Waste a time.
